Performance will be assessed using letter grading system from A (100 - 90%) to F (59% and below). There will be weekly daily work, spelling, compostition, and math tests. In addition, there will be projects and other activities throughout the trimester that will earn participation and completion points. Grades for achievments in specials and citizenship will also be reflected on report cards. In addition, students will take state mandated achievement tests througout the school year.
Attendence: There are very strict policies in regards to attendance and unexcused absences in place. A Written note is required for all absences within three days of the student's return to school. Otherwise, the absence will be considered unexcused. Tardies and early outs count towards your child's attendance.
